Lena Knowles

Bio: I am a dedicated member of the UConn community with a strong background in management and finance. I work at UConn, I hold a bachelor’s degree in management from UConn and am currently in my second year of pursuing an MBA at the School of Business. Throughout my tenure at UConn, I have served in various roles, demonstrating my versatility and commitment. Currently, I excel as a Fiscal Officer/Administrative Specialist in the Agricultural & Resource Economics Department, where I manage financial operations and support administrative functions.

In addition to my professional responsibilities, I am actively involved in the academic community. This year, I will be teaching an FYE course for freshmen, aiming to mentor and guide new students through their first year. I am also excited to take on the role of student ambassador for the Online MBA Program, where I will represent and promote the program to prospective students.

My favorite memory as a Husky is sitting fourth row behind the team at the 2014 Final Four in Texas, where the UConn men’s basketball team clinched the NCAA championship. Go Huskies!
