Andrew Handfield
Andrew Handfield is a Senior Investment Analyst at Aon, where he works primarily with corporate pension plans to provide manager due diligence, asset allocation recommendations, and investment performance analysis. In this role, he supports institutional investors by monitoring liability-hedging portfolios, analyzing fixed income strategies, and evaluating investment managers across asset classes.
Andrew is currently pursuing his MBA in Finance at the University of Connecticut. Through the program, he has participated in experiential learning opportunities, including traveling to London and Atlanta to engage with senior leaders and executives at global companies to better understand how data, analytics, and AI are transforming industries. Additionally, Andrew served as a member of UConn’s Student Managed Fund, helping oversee a nearly $1 million equity portfolio and conducting in-depth financial analysis to support investment recommendations.
Andrew began his career at Cambridge Associates in Boston, Massachusetts, where he supported endowments and foundations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Sacred Heart University in 2018, where he competed as a Division I athlete in cross country and track and field, earning All-Northeast Conference honors in 2017.
