Roberto Ramirez
My name is Roberto Ramirez, born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Grew up in Philadelphia, PA. Joined the Army National Guard straight of high school in 2004 and became a Sargent with 8 years of military service and tour of Iraq in 2006. After service I moved back to Puerto Rico where I finished my business administration bachelor’s degree at PUCPR then moved to the beautiful state of Connecticut in 2016 after being recruited to come work at ESPN as a producer. Currently working at CBS Sports as a news editor. I’m living my best life in Hamden, CT, where I mostly hike, go cycling and play a lot of pickleball to stay active. I became a Master’s student at Uconn in January of 2025 and been very involved with the university ever since. Looking forward to whatever is next and to keep moving up that ladder of success.
