David Kronengold

I have spent the majority of my career in the sporting goods industry, primarily in archery. I started as an engineer and my career progressed through engineering leadership, product line management, quality, operations management, and, ultimately, general management.

In 2020, I prioritized the needs of my family and relocated to the east coast. I am pursuing my MBA (starting at the young age of 50) to broaden my skill sets and use it to leverage my way back to a senior executive level position in an organization where I can put my unique experiences to use.

I have learned a great deal in my first year in the MBA program at UConn. The new skills have opened my eyes to areas I had not previously focused on but the most satisfying aspect has been learning the “why” behind a lot of the “what” of my career achievements.

In my free time (which I look forward to having upon graduation) I enjoy spending time with my wife (who is pursuing her masters in English at Harvard) and my daughter (who is pursuing her masters in Archeological Studies at Yale). I also still enjoy shooting archery and showing my Doberman Pinschers.
